FAQs

  • A course of treatment is typically advised to achieve maximum results this is usually 6 – 8 treatments, one treatment per week for 6 – 8 weeks.

  • Results can be seen as soon as after your first treatment, however a course of treatments are recommended as results are further improved after each treatment.

  • Most clients have 3D HIFU on its own, since it targets the deeper layers of the skin and nothing needs to be applied to the surface afterwards. It can still sit alongside your other treatments, and your therapist will plan the order and spacing with you at your consultation. LED light therapy is a common pairing, as it can be used afterwards to calm the skin. If you have had injectable treatments, or have them booked, tell your therapist beforehand, as the timing may need to be adjusted.

  • Your therapist will prepare the area, then place a smooth handpiece against your skin. The handpiece delivers focused ultrasound in short pulses, working line by line across the area. Most clients describe brief flashes of heat, tingling or a prickling feeling deeper under the skin, rather than warmth on the surface. Bonier areas such as the jawline and forehead can feel sharper. Tell your therapist at any point if it feels like too much, as the settings can be adjusted. Afterwards your skin may look a little pink and feel tender to the touch for a day or two, and you can go straight back to your normal routine.

  • 3D HIFU facelift is performed using a small smooth hand piece that delivers the highly focused ultrasound energy to the treatment area, stimulating new collagen production via targeted input of ultrasound energy into the deep tissue layers of the skin. This heats the tissues, triggering a natural skin response that initiates the body’s healing process stimulating collagen and elastin production.

    This technology bypasses the skin’s surface and focuses entirely on the deep, structural layers of the skin where collagen is deposited. This means that the surface of your skin is not affected, and after the treatment, you can go about your usual daily activities.

    Although you may see an initial lift a couple of weeks following treatment, results will appear over three to six months following the treatment as your body will continue to produce fresh collagen.
